Healthy Nisse was founded by Erlend, Alexa, and their little “nisse,” Emmett. Together, they are dedicated to crafting simple, powerful solutions to modern lifestyle health challenges without compromise.

Living in the heart of Norway, they draw inspiration from the surrounding pristine nature. It reminds them that the best solutions are often the simplest and the cleanest.

Their passion for health isn’t just a business, it’s a way of life. From nutrition and exercise to biohacking and meditation, they've spent years discovering what truly works.

We created Healthy Nisse because we saw too many problems in the supplement industry.

That didn’t sit right with us.

The Meaning Behind “Nisse”

The Nisse is a mythical figure from Nordic folklore, known to live on farms and in nature. It is strong, long-lived, and full of character, bringing either blessings or a bit of mischief, depending on how it is treated.

To us, the Nisse is a reminder:

Treat your body well, and it will take care of you in return. Stay connected to nature, and you’ll find balance.

For non-scandinavians out there who wonder how to pronounce the word "nisse"... It is pronounced like this:

NISS-eh

Where NISS rhymes with hiss or miss

And eh is short and soft like the e in bet

Oh, and by the way, the “julenisse” or santa clause, is this guy’s cousin only... They’re not the same guy. The Healthy Nisse is based on the “skogsnisse” or “fjøsnisse” (forest gnome or farm gnome) who appears in history long before the santa nisse/clause.
